Announcement of artist susan c. dessel’s Illustrated Presentation of her research on and work about Martha Gruening (Smith 1909) at Smith College’s 2015 Otelia Cromwell Day (OCD). Cromwell was the first African American graduate of Smith (1900). OCD is a day of programming at Smith to educate and create opportunities for students and faculty to discuss and think about issues of Diversity and Racism.
